Introducing Tokyo Marui's groundbreaking entry into the realm of squad support airsoft machine guns, the first of its kind, equipped with cutting-edge electric gun technology. This next-generation offering, the "Mark 46 Mod 0," has earned its place as the squad support weapon of choice for USSOCOM, setting new standards for realism and functionality.
The real steel MK46 Mod.0, embraced by the U.S. Special Operations Joint Command (USSOCOM), represents a significant redesign of the M249, aiming for maximum portability and reduced weight. Through multiple prototype iterations, a notable reduction in weight was achieved by eliminating various components, including the carrying handle, tripod mount lug, and the 30-round magazine attachment device. Furthermore, the MK46 Mod.0 preserves compatibility with an array of stocks from the M249, such as the telescopic paramodel stock, slide stock, and fixed polymer stock, offering versatility and adaptability.
This extraordinary model boasts a metal construction, delivering an impressive total weight of approximately 6.3 kg. What truly sets it apart is the unprecedentedly strong recoil generated upon firing, immersing the operator in the sensation of genuine firearm use. The attention to detail in terms of functionality is evident, from the belt link gimmick, replicating the feeling of feeding rounds, to the automatic stop support for continuous fire magazines and an integrated electronic firing control system enhanced with multiple sensors.
Major features include the revolutionary "shoot & recoil engine," which activates the weight and imparts authentic recoil throughout the firearm when the trigger is pulled. Additionally, this model incorporates an auto-stop system that halts firing when the magazine is empty, underlining its commitment to operational realism and ease of use.
The belt link gimmick allows the user to simulate the loading process by pulling the belt link from the magazine, opening the feed cover on the main unit, and setting the belt link. This meticulously crafted mechanism mimics the movement of metal dummy cartridges as if they were being fed into the chamber during firing.
For those who seek a more in-depth experience, attaching and detaching the barrel is made simple for battery replacement, enabling access to the inner barrel, which is designed in two segments. The model also incorporates site adjustments, allowing for precise control over the rear and front sights, just like the real thing.
An Electronic Firing Control System (FET) is integrated to enhance performance and reliability. This technology minimizes the stress on the switch section, ensuring smooth operation. Several sensors are employed, including a trigger function that disengages when the barrel is removed or the feed cover is opened, an auto-stop system that detects when the continuous-fire magazine is depleted and ceases operation, and an LED indicator that provides real-time feedback on the status of the FET and battery.
Included in this comprehensive package is a special bipod featuring a rounded cross-section design, complete with foldable legs. To facilitate transportation and storage, a durable 1000 denier nylon carrying case is provided. Additionally, two original patches are included as a bonus.
The versatility of the Mark 46 Mod 0 extends to its compatibility with various muzzle options, offering the flexibility to attach a 14mm reverse threaded muzzle accessory, such as a silencer. The convenience is further enhanced with the inclusion of an electric wind-up box-type magazine with an impressive capacity of 1,000 rounds, ensuring a continuous and exhilarating shooting experience.
